PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. Here, a covered serving bowl by L. Bernardaud & Co (of Limoges, France) created exclusively for New York emporium Higgins & Seiter (one of the foremost dealers in fine European tableware during the late 1800's and early 1900's). This piece appears in an illustrated Higgins & Seiter 1913/14 catalogue in the Drawings & Prints collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Ceramic. About 11" x 7" x 5" high. See detail photo for bottom maker mark.
Please note: We have only one of this vintage item available and it is FINAL SALE. Before purchasing, review all photos and please email us with any questions or concerns. This vintage piece will have small, non-structural imperfections in the finish or surface due to age but we think this adds to the vintage charm and character.
