Vintage Transferware Francis Morley Aurora Large Platter Made in England

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds.  Here, a large ceramic transferware platter or tray in the Aurora pattern by Francis Morley.  We love the unusual mix of colors....that purple with green, blue and yellow...not to mention the angular shape combined with the floral details.  This piece is beautiful hung on the wall.

Ceramic. About 15"wide x 11.75"tall x 1.5"high.  See detail photo for bottom maker mark.
