Aesthetic Movement Silver Plated Metal Candle Holder with Crane and "M" Monogram

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. 

Here, a wonderful example of Aesthetic Movement (late 1800's) silver ware: a tall candle holder featuring an elegantly detailed crane positioned on the stem as if it is the support of the form.  The top tier and round base are decorated with intricate floral and graphic motifs characteristic of the Aesthetic Movement.  This candle holder is engraved with a letter M on the base (see photo). We love the versatility of this piece because it can hold a taper candle, a larger pillar candle and a scented candle by PATCH NYC!
