The lofty, breathable feel of these vintage kantha blankets is achieved through multiple layers of cotton fabric assembled with hand-sewn running stitches resulting in a super soft and reversible throw. Kantha blankets are made from vintage textiles that have various unique characteristics due to age including fading, worn areas, patches and embroidered repairs. Sometimes areas of the top fabric are worn to the point where sections of an underlying pattern show through faintly. We think the visible mending evident in these throw blankets is what gives them character making each blanket special and one of a kind.
100% cotton. About 59" x 88". Machine wash cold, air dry and tumble low heat to fluff. Made in India. Sold individually.
