Vintage Painted Wood Wall Shelf with Scottie Dog

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds.  Here, a handy wooden wall shelf beautifully carved with decorative leaves and branches all painted in a terrific shade of blue.  And, as if that wasn't enough, perched on the shelf is a metal Scottie dog sitting up on its hind legs....also painted blue.  This is a great piece of decorative folk art work.  

Painted wood and metal.  Measures about 12" tall x 8" wide x 4.75"deep.  No markings.  

Please note: We have only one of this vintage item available and it is FINAL SALE.  Before purchasing, review all photos and please email us with any questions or concerns.  This vintage piece shows evidence of an early repair (see photos of metal support piece on back).  The Scottie dog is secured but does rotate around.  The screw and nut holding it in place is painted over so not easily tightened.  Overall, this wall shelf will have small, non-structural imperfections in the finish or surface due to its age but we think this adds to the vintage charm and character.
