PATCH NYC Frosty Snowman with Vintage Poinsettia Figurine & Gift Box

Made by PATCH NYC! It's no surprise that we are huge fans of the holiday season so it brings us great joy to present a special collection of festive decorations crafted by hand in the PATCH NYC design studio. 

Inspired by the ornaments we made last year when we decorated the White House Green Room for First Lady Jill Biden, we created these handmade ornaments and decorative objects using vintage and new materials from the PATCH NYC design studio.  Our vast archive of vintage holiday treasures and supplies influenced the colors and motifs of this exclusive collection only available at PATCH NYC.

This frosty snowman has a surprise! The bodies of these sculptural snowmen open up to reveal a perfect spot for hiding a small gift or candy!  Inspired by a Victorian snowman box from our own collection we created this version using paper mache, pipe cleaners and a vintage poinsettia flower.  Traditionally, these types of disguised gift boxes (or cachettes which means "hiding place" in French) were used for holding candy but we think these would be great for any small scale trinket like jewelry!

Paper mache, googly eyes, ribbon and plastic.  About 10" h x 5.5"w x 3.75 d. Sold individually. Made in the USA.
