Vintage Foo Dog with Ball on a Stand Metal Incense Burner Made in Japan

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. 

Here, a metal incense burner in the shape of a Foo Dog with his ball atop a stylized platform stand. Traditionally, the Foo Dog with a ball represents protection, wisdom and power.  This Food Dog is decorated with beautiful details and the ball features a flower and leaves. The platform stand is adorned with dragons and waves and has a recessed area designed to hold a cone of incense. This is a terrific decorative object.
