PATCH NYC Gladiola Small Rectangle Tray
Regular price $52.00
A few years ago at the RISD Museum in Providence, we saw an exhibition of early wallpaper that included fragments of papier dominoté - beautifully patterned square papers that could be pasted together to form a pattern. What struck us about these papers from the 1700's and 1800's was the incredibly vibrant movement in the designs. The motifs had a gentle fluidity that we found truly inspiring. Those antique papier dominotés were the inspiration behind this new design we've called Gladiola, where lush blooms connect to create curving rows of blue on a field of alternating rust and cream stripes.
This sturdy birch wood tray is perfect for keeping organized or serving food and drinks. Added bonus: these trays double as art when hung on the wall with a plate hanger (not included).
