We are very pleased to offer these fine art prints from an original watercolor painting by PATCH NYC co-founder Don Carney. For over 15 years, Don's mother Carmella created nearly 100 varieties of needlepoint eyes that we finished with vintage frames and sold to collectors around the world. As an homage to Carmella's needlepoint creations, Don painted these eyes in his meticulously detailed style using watercolors on a textured paper. The Eye as a design motif has been part of PATCH NYC since our early days so we are very pleased to offer this update of one of our favorite subjects.
Printed on an archival matte paper, these high quality art prints come framed under glass in silver-leaf oval wood frames crafted in Italy. The silver-leaf finish on these wood frames is hand-applied following traditional techniques so surface variations are to be expected. Hanging wire installed on the back.
