Victorian Light Brown Bristol Glass Tall Vase Made in England

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds.  Here, a beautiful example of Victorian decorative glass made in Bristol, England.  Vintage Bristol glass is noted for its opaque colors, delicate weight and hand applied details.  The top edge of this vase looks like carefully rippled fabric and the unusual color reminds us of a delicious cafe au lait. How can we not like that?  

Glass. About 10" tall  x 4" diameter.  No markings. Sold individually.

This vase has an indentation in the base from the production process (see detail photo).  This indentation is on the back side so it is not visible from the front. Tiny bubbles, indentations and seam lines created by the fusing of elements are inherent properties of some glass production and are not considered defects.
