Vintage Le Vendome Restaurant Porcelain Ashtray Made in France

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. 

Here, an original souvenir ashtray from Le Vendome restaurant in Aix en Provence. We love the central motif of an heraldic crest with fleurs de lis and a royal crown but what we really think is special is the mix of font styles and those beautiful calligraphic swirling border details. Oh la la indeed!  This ashtray was produced for Renaud & J. Clermont, an historic luxury boutique during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 

Porcelain. Measures about 5" diameter x 1" high. See photo for bottom labelling. Sold individually. Made in France.
