Vintage Ceramic Pipe Vase or Planter

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. 

Here a vintage ceramic piece that Magritte would appreciate!  We've always been drawn to the classic iconography of a curved gentleman's pipe a la Magritte's surrealist masterpiece The Treachery of Images (La Trahison des Images) with it's painted script statement: Ceci n'est pas une pipe. (this is not a pipe).  In fact, pipes have been incorporated into our wallpaper designs, decorative pillows and original art since we started so how could we resist this terrific piece?

Ceramic About 4" high x 4.5" diameter.  Sold individually.
